The Need?

With the growing need to protect people from airborne contaminants on a local and global scale (bird flu; swine flu, etc) as well as the need to protect against typical sick building syndrome and the numerous causes that affect the ability of people to work effectively in the workplace as well as occupy places of public access it is essential to have and maintain effective air quality.

The tendency towards ‘tighter’ buildings in order to better control the indoor environment and not waste energy through environmental ‘leakage’ from buildings creates a greater need to control the quality of the indoor environment.

Filtration Features

Utilising a process called Ultraviolet Photo Catalytic Oxidation (UVPCO) is used within the air filtration products that we supply.

This process makes a valid and demonstrable contribution to environmentally friendly systems that support the various ‘green’ standards applicable around the world such as LEED and BREEAM.

The GAPTM technology utilised has been scientifically tested and validated within commercial and governmental laboratories and field tests to achieve the significant results claimed in the removal of airborne contaminants.

The technology offers significant benefits to human health and the environment by treating air ventilation and typically eliminating over 90% of contaminants.

The use of this technology in association with ‘tighter’ building design provides energy savings through reduced ventilation demands.
