Stan Mitchell brings 35+ years’ experience in Facilities Management. As well as co-founding Key Facilities Management as a business in 1990 with Valerie his wife, he has led its development internationally delivering FM related Consulting, Training, Technology Solutions, and Operations. He is recognised worldwide as a pioneer in the development of FM as a Strategic Professional Discipline. His contribution in this regard has included Chairman of the British Institute of Facilities Management, Chairman of Global Facility Management Organisation, UK representative of the European Standards body CEN, Chairman of the British Standards Institution FM Committee, Chairman of the ISO Technical Committee for Facility Management all of which have and continue to create International FM standards.

His career includes Captain in British Army, Director of FM with Initial Services and Carlisle Support Services. Corporate accounts have included Virgin Rail, Citi, NHS, London Stock Exchange, Heathrow, and Manchester Airports. He has held various roles within Key Facilities Management.
