Stan Mitchell brings 35+ years’ experience in Facilities Management. As well as co-founding Key Facilities Management as a business in 1990 with Valerie his wife, he has led its development internationally delivering FM related Consulting, Training, Technology Solutions, and Operations. He is recognised worldwide as a pioneer in the development of FM as a Strategic Professional Discipline. His contribution in this regard has included Chairman of the British Institute of Facilities Management, Chairman of Global Facility Management Organisation, UK representative of the European Standards body CEN, Chairman of the British Standards Institution FM Committee, Chairman of the ISO Technical Committee for Facility Management all of which have and continue to create International FM standards.

Valerie has led our Shared Services Team, the engine room of the business, since our establishment in 1990. Professionally qualified she has been instrumental in developing the structures and processes which ensure the smooth compliant day-to-day running of the business. Today this involves 3 companies, 5 subsidiaries, 10 international network partners and a headcount of over 100 staff worldwide.

With 20+ years’ experience in Hospitality and having completed a ProFM qualification from the Professional Facility Management Institute and achived a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership Sarah utilises this experience to good effect managing our Head Office facility and supporting the Operational Board of Directors across their varied roles and responsibilities.

With 10+ years’ FM experience, Walid is responsible for our Operational delivery and client liaison internationally. Professional member of IWFM with experience across many countries and cultures as well as many cross-sector FM disciplines. Experience includes mobilisation, refurbishment projects and operations management complimented by having had his own IT network solutions business prior to becoming part of the Key Family.

Alan Baxter brings 30+ years of experience within the FM market as well as considerable corporate experience across the UK and internationally.
Alan was one of the founding council members and committee chairman of the Association of Facilities Managers which became the British Institute of Facilities Management.
Alan has a vast experience in the development and auditing of Facilities Management policies, processes and procedures aligned with compliance to ISO International standards and associated training.

Simon brings 30 years security experience and brings extensive knowledge in manned guarding, electronic solutions, operational strategies along with a problem solving attitude to the table. He has transitioned from poacher to gamekeeper with ease and passes on any gained experience to our clients. As an active member of the Institute of Security Management brings access to best industry practice.

35+ years of IFM experience at a senior level including global account management in differing business sectors. Account Director roles over the last 18 years managing outsourced contracts for MSD, Coca Cola, NCR, Sun Microsystems, Avaya.
Contracts managed included self-delivery with Sodexo and as an agent with JLL and CBRE.
Previously employed in in-house positions at Elf Oil, Brown and Root and within the financial services sector.

Mahmoud brings 30+ years of experience across the EMEA marketplace.

He has led the development and management of several prestigious real estate projects in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey and is recognised as one of the pioneer promoters of the importance of the FM discipline.

Mahmoud is a civil engineer by profession who strengthened his management knowledge through gaining an MBA from Manchester Business School in England.

30 years of strategic leadership across diversity of industries including Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
